TUMI's Just In Case is the backup tote that solves the return trip with more volume than the outbound. It folds flat and packs into its own zip pouch, which makes it easy to store inside a larger bag and to have at hand when needed.
Despite being light, it has good capacity. The main compartment opens with a double zip and has an open interior pocket for the essentials. The shoulder straps allow carrying by hand or over the shoulder.
The zip pouch has snaps that attach it to the tote's interior, so it does not get lost. The add-a-bag strap fits onto a trolley handle, which keeps the tote secure at the airport.
